General Maintenance and Construction Labourer

  • Seasonal - Full Time
  • Beginning of April through end of October
  • $19 -$24; earning potential of $15K to $30K per season (dependent on wage and time of employment)

Skill and Scope of Work

  • Safely work with small engine equipment and ride on mowers
  • Create clean & straight lawn cutting lines with the ability to identify missed areas

  • Safely load and unload equipment off a trailer
  • Basic shrub and tree pruning experience knowledge
  • Garden care (weeding and soil churning)

  • Candidates with concrete finishing and mortar repair will be preferred
  • Chainsaw certification an asset

  • Capability to work both independently or in a team environment
  • Fitness capacity of manual labour lifting over 50lbs throughout a 10-hour day/ digging/

raking/ carrying timbers & assorted lumber


  •  X2 Saturdays in May and June required in lieu of a rainy day

ability to delegate, communicate clearly, and pay attention to detail.

A crew lead must show the ability to effectively manage both their and their crews time,

analyzing and adjusting their process management to improve time on site performance.

  • Responsible for loading tools/ fuel/ supplies respective to the day’s work/ seasonal

specific requirements

  • Purchase of fuel when needed or requested by management
  • Manage a crew of 1 to 5 additional employees, ensuring H&S quality and production

targets are met

  • Daily Truck & Trailer Check/ Crew safety meeting
  • Keeping trailer and truck in order, and informing the maintenance manager of any

issues

  • Communication with client as to work satisfaction
  • Any additional work projects communicated to the maintenance manager the

  • Proper use of field app including the uploading of pictures and notes on specific work

Maintenance Technician

  • $26 - $33.50 hr
  • Full Time
  • Competent in carrying out the roles and responsibilities of a general employee or crew lead.
  • Daily reporting directly to the maintenance manager at a minimum of both start and end of

shift. 


A technician lead must show that they are proactive, organized, consistently punctual,

having the ability to delegate, communicate clearly, and pay attention to detail.

A technician lead must show the ability to effectively manage both their and their crews time,

analyzing and adjusting their process management to improve time on site performance. They

must lead by example, demonstrating a willingness to pick up undesirable tasks, working at a

consistent productive pace. They also must have the ability to both praise and correct in a

constructive way.
